The DVD system does not
start playback.

- Insert a readable disc wlth the playback side facing
down The DVD+R/CD-R must be finahzed
Check for any scratches or smudges on the disc
- Press SETUP to turn off the system setup menu
screen
- You may need to enter the password m order to
change the parental contro! rating level or to unlock
the disc for playback
- MoAsture may have condensed reside the system
Remove the Osc and leave the system turned on for
about an hour
The aspect ratio of the screen -
cannot be changed even though -
you have set the TV display.
Cannot activate some features -
such as Angles, Subtitles, or -
multi-language Audio.
Not able to select some items -
in the setuplsystem menu.
Unable to play DivX movies. -
Radio reception is poor.
The DVD system does not
WOrk.
The disc in the disc slot cannot -
be ejected.
The aspect rano _sfixed on the DVD disc
Depending on the TV, dt may not be possible to
change the aspect rauo
The features may not be avadable on the DVD
Changing the language for the sound or subtitle Ls
prohlblted on thLs DVD
Press STOP button twice before selecting
the system

Depending on the disc avadablhty, some menu _tems
cannot be selected
Check that the DwX file Is encoded m 'Home
Theater' mode wnch DJvX cerufied encoder

If the signal _s too weak, adlust the antenna or
connect an external antenna for better recepuon
- Increase the distance between the system and your
TV or VCR
- Tune m to the correct fi-equency
- Place the antenna further away fl'om any eqmpment
that may be causing d_e interference
Disconnect the power cord fi'om the power outlet
for a few mmutes Reconnect the power cord and cry
to operate again as usual
Press and hold the STOP button on the remote
control followed by pressmg the OgJt ke!s '2', 'S' and
