Use the TV ratings loci<
Your_ is equipped with aV-chip that allows you to control access to
individual programs based on their age rating and content rating,The
program content advisory data are sent by the broadcaster or by the
program provider,
If you receive channels through a set-top box or cable box connected
by HDMI, you cannot use theTV ratings lock,Your set-top box or cable
box must be connected through RF orAV connectors,
t Press MENU on the remote control and select [Features] >
[Child Iocl<] > [TV ratings Iocl<].
_- Enter your PIN (see 'Set or change your PIN' on page 16).
3 Press A or T and then press OK to lock or unlock one or more
ratings.
Each rating has a box-graphic in front of it to indicate whether
programs carrying that rating are locked:
A box with X indicates that all items in the content ratings list
are locked.
An empty box indicates that no items in the content ratings
list are locked,
A box with / indicates that some content ratings are
deselected, For example, for ratingTV-14, you can deselect
one or more of the following content ratings: [(D) Dialog],
[(L) Language], [(S) Sex], or [(V) Violence].

When you select [Atl], all items in the ratings list are locked.
When you select [None], programs with no rating and
programs with a rating of None are locked.
When you loci< a rating, all ratings in the younger age
categories are automatically locked.
Press MENU to exit.

situations.
TV-PG: Programs contain elements that some [(D) Dialog]
parents may find unsuitable for younger [(L) Language]
children and which may need parental guidance. [(S) Sex]
The program may contain moderate violence, [(V) Violence]
sexual dialog and/or situations and some strong
language.
-i-V-14: Programs contain elements that may [(D) Dialog]
not be suitable for children under I4 years of [(L) Language]
age.These programs include one or more of [(S) Sex]
the following: intense violence, intense sexual [(V) Violence]
situations, suggestive dialog and strong language,
TV-MA: Programs are designed to be viewed by [(L) Language]
adults and may be unsuitable for children under [(S) Sex]

Use the movie ratings loci<
You can control viewing of movies based on their Notion Picture
Association of America (NPAA) rating.
t Press MENU on the remote control and select [Features] >
[Child Iocl<].
21 Select one of the menus for movie ratings loci<.
In the USA, select [Movie ratings lock].
In Canada, select [Canada English ratings lock] or [Canada
French ratings lock].
3 Enter your PIN (see'Set or change your PIN' on page 16).
