• Make sureycur antenna system (TV or CABLE), is serrestly set. (p. 8-11)
• Make sum cassette record tab is inlant. (P.4)
• Check that clock isset to currenttime and date.
• Make sure DSS/CABLE box (ifused) is lefton and tuned to channel to
be recorded.
: Set recording Start/Stop times correctly.(P. 22-23)
Timer recording may not be performed or continued if a power
interruption of more than 1 minute occurs before or during a Timer
recording even after power is restored.
• Adjust TRACKING conb'ol in either direction. (P. 37)

Make sure VCR LOCK is set to off. (P. 27)
• Make sure unit is not in a 13rner Record operation.
• Aim remote at remote sensor on unit (P. 7) so that signal is
unobstructed.
• Inspect t heremotebatteries. (P. 4)
• Make sure VCR LOCK is set to oft. (P. 27)
• Exposing unitremote sensor to direct fluorescent or outdoorlight may
cause signal interference.
• Check remote batteries.
• Insert the cassette window side up; record tab facing you.
• Compistely insert Power Plug into an AC o_et.
• Try ejestJngor insertingthe tape again after tuming POWER oft, then
back on.
• Make sure cassette recordtab is intact.(P. 4)
• To enable Quick Play mechanism, the VCR cylinder wilhotste for
about 3 minutes.This reduces response time from Stop to Play mode
and from Play to Rewind Search m(x_.
VCR cannot be controlled ....
