problems
often are caused
by little things you can find and fix without
tools of any kind.
Check the lists below and on the next page before calling for assistance
or service.

PROBLEM
CAUSE
Nothing works.
* The power supply cord is not plugged into a live circuit with the proper
voltage. (See the "Electrical requirements" section on page 5 and the
"Electrical connection" section on page 7.)
• A household fuse has blown or a circuit breaker has tripped.
• The electric company has had a power failure.
The microwave oven
* You are using the oven as a timer. Touch OFF/CANCEL to cancel the

• The electric supply to your home or wall outlets is low or lower than normal.

or service technician can tell you if the outlet voltage is low.
• The cook power is not at the recommended setting. Check the chart on
page 16.
• You have not allowed enough cooking time for the amount of food being
cooked. Larger amounts of food need longer cooking times.
The display shows a time
counting down but the
oven is not cooking.
• The oven door is not closed completely.
• You have set the controls as a Minute Timer. Touch TIMER or OFF/CANCEL
to cancel the Minute Timer.
