Child Lock
You can use the child lock to prevent children from turning the cooktop on.
Turning child lock on
and off
Turning on
The cooktop must be turned off.
Touch Clean Lock / Child Lock for 4 seconds. The c= symbol will come on for
10 seconds. The cooktop is now locked.
Turning off Touch Clean Lock / Child Lock for 4 seconds. The safety panel lock is now
canceled.
Automatic child lock
This function automatically activates the child lock whenever you turn the cooktop
off.
Turning on and off
Refer to the chapter on Basic Settings to learn how to activate the automative child
lock.
Clean Lock
Wiping across the control panel while the cooktop is on could change the settings.
To prevent this, the cooktop has a Clean Lock function. Touch Clean Lock / Child
Lock. The _ symbol lights up. The control panel is then locked for 30 seconds. You
can now wipe the control panel without affecting the settings.
Note The Clean Lock function does not affect the main On/Off switch. You can turn off
the cooktop at any time.
