Using the optical zoom

1 Usethe LCDto frameyour subject.

2 Tozoom in, pressTelephoto(T).

Tozoom out, pressWide Angle (W).

3 Takethe picture.

Using digital zoom

Usedigital zoomto get up to 5X magnificationbeyondoptical zoom.(Digital zoom is

not availablein SmartCapturemode.)Press Telephoto(T)until the slider is at the end

of the optical zoom range.Release Telephoto(T),then pressit again.

NOTE: You may notice decreased

image q uality w hen using d igital z oom. The slider pauses and turns red

when thepicture q uality r eaches thelimit f oranacceptable
