Control the camera's sensitivity to light.
Higher values can be used to reduce blur when lighting is
poor; note, however, that mottling
may appear in pictures taken at high sensitivities.
If AUTO, AUTO
(800), or AUTO (400) is selected, the camera will adjust sensitivity automatically
in response to shoot-
ing conditions.
The maximum values that will be selected by the camera at settings of AUTO (800)
and AUTO (400) are 800 and 400 respectively.
Settings other than AUTO are shown by an icon in the
display.

Sensitivity is not reset when the camera is turned off or another shooting mode is selected.
