I Connecting to a PC
By connecting the camera to a PC, your system can be
expanded to fill a wide range of uses. Using
"FinePixViewer" performs images saving, browsing and
file management etc.

If tile power cuts out during data transmission, the data
will not be transmitted correctly. Always use the AC power
adapter when connecting the camera to a PC.

Install the software first. Do
not connect the camera to
CD-ROM
the PC before installing all (Software for FinePix CX)
the software.
_1_Insert the Memory Card with images into the camera
(*p.22).
You can use the xD-Picture Card and the SD
Memory Card with the FinePix S5700 / FinePix $700.
In this Owner's Manual, these cards are expressed as
"Memory Card".
('_ CAUTION
• Do not format tile Memory Card in tile camera oil the
PC.
• Use the Memory Card with images taken by a
FUJIFILM Digital camera.
• When connecting to a PC, if the Memory Card contains
large image or movie files, connection or transmission
may take time or images may not be stored. In these
cases, use the Image Memory Card Reader (sold
separately), etc. Note that the Image Memory Card
Reader DPC-R1 is not compatible with the SD Memory
Card.
