• Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer's recommended
attachmentsand products.
• Donot use with damagedcord or plug. If applianceis not working as it should,has
been dropped,damaged, left outdoors,or dropped intowater, take it to a service
center prior to continuinguse.
• Do not pull or carry by cord, usecord as a handle,closea door on cord, or pull cord
aroundsharp edgesor corners. Donot place producton cord. Donot run appliance
over cord. Keepcord away from heatedsurfaces.
• Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug,graspthe plug, not the cord.
• Do not handle plug or appliancewith wet hands.
• Donot put anyobject into openings.Donot usewith anyopening blocked;keepfree
of dust, lint, hair, and anythingthat may reduceair flow.
• Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers,and all parts of body away from openings and
movingparts. Brushrollcontinuesto rotate when in the upright position.
• Turn off all controls beforeunplugging.
• Useextra care when cleaningon stairs. To avoidpersonalinjury or damage,and to
prevent the cleanerfrom falling, alwaysplace cleaner at bottom of stairs on floor.
Do not pJacecleaneron stairs or furniture, as it may result in injury or damage.
• Do not use to pick up flammableor combustibleliquids, such as gasoline,or fine
woodsandings,or usein areaswhere they may be present.
• Do notpick up anythingthat is burning or smoking,such as cigarettes,matches,or
hot ashes.
• Donot use without Dustbag and Filtersin place.
