Behind

Be careful
when
moving
the refl'igerator
away
f]'om the wall. All t_pes of floor
coverings
can
be damaged,
particularly
cushioned
coverings
and those
with embossed
surtsces.
Pull the refl'igerator
straight
out and
return
it
to position
by pushing
it straight
in. Moving
the
ret_'igerator
in a side direction
may result in
damage
to the floor
covering
or reti'igerator.
When
pushing
the refrigerator
back, make
sure
you don't
roll over the power
cord or icemaker
supply
line.
Prvparing

vacation
For long vacations
or absences,
remove
fl)od
and
m, plug the ret/"igerator.
Clean
the interior
with a baking
soda solution
of one
tablespoon
(15 ml) of baking
soda to one quart
(1 liter)
of
water.
Leave
the do(n_
open.
Set the icemaker
power
switch to the 0 (off)
position
and shut off the water
supply
to
the refl'igerator.
If the temperature
can drop
below
fl'eezing,
have a qualified
servicer
drain
the water supply
system
to prevent
serious
property
damage
due
to flooding.
Secure all loose items such as shelves and
drawel_ by taping them securely in })lace
to prevent damage.
When using a hand truck to move the
refrigerator,
do not rest the ti'ont or back of
the refl'igerator
against the hand truck. This
could damage the ret/"igerator. Handle only
ti'om the sides of the reti'igerator.
Be sure the refrigerator
stays in an upright
position during moving,
