Spill Shelf
To Use the Dispenser
Select C UBED, CRUSHED o r WATER.
Press the glassgentlgagainstthetop
of the dispenser cradle.
Thespillshelfisnot self-draining. Toreducewater
spotting,the shelfand its grilleshouldbe cleaned
regularlg.
Ifno water is dispensed when the refrigerator is
firstinstalled,there mag be air in the water line
system. Press the dispenserarm for at least two
minutes to remove trapped air from the water line
and to fillthe water s_jstem.Toflush out impurities
in the water line,throw awag the firstsixglassfuls
of water.
CAUTION: Never put fingers or any other objects
into the ice crusher dischargeopening.
Locking the Dispenser
Press the LOCKor LOCK CONTROLS pad for
3 seconds to lockthe dispenser and control panel.
To unlock, press and hold the pad again for
3 seconds.
Dispenser Light
TheLIGHT pad turnsthe night light in
the dispenser on and off.Thelightalsocomeson
whenthe dispenser c radleis pressed. On some
models,ifthis lightburnsout, it shouldbe replaced
with a 6 watt !2V maximumbulb.
Door Alurm
UseDoor Alarmto soundif eitherdoor isopen
for morethan 3 minutes. T healarmwill stop
oncethe door isclosed.ForLCD models,a popup
screen will appeaE Thealarmcan besilenced
bg touchingthe LCD screen.
LCDModels:
AccessBy: Home> Options > Informationand
Settings > Settings> DoorAlarm
AccessBy: Pressing ON.
Deactivate By: Pressing OFF.
Non-LCDModels:
Press the SET FEATURES p ad once and DOOR
ALARM will blink.Press ON/OFF and the door
alarmwill beset and the iconwillturn solid.Press
ON/OFF againto turn the alarmoff.
Quick Ice
Whengouneedto speedup iceproduction, use
the QuickIcefeature. W hilethisfeatureisturnedon,
thefreezer fan runscontinuouslg f or48 hours, o r
untilthefeatureisturnedOFEDuringthisperiod,
iceproduction willincrease up to 40%.Hodelswith
the integrated icefeaturesgstemrequire at FIRST
USE at leasthalfan 8 oz.glassof iceto be dispensed

Access by: Home > Options > FreezerOptions >
Quick Ice
Activote by: Pressing ON.
Deoctivete by" Pressing OFF.
Non-LCDModels:
Press theSETFEATURES pad twiceand QUICK ICE
willblink.Press ON/OFFtoturn thefeatureon,
thenagainto turn it off.
Precise Fill (onsome models)
Thiswater dispenser is equipped with a feature
called"precise fill."Thisfeatureallowsgouto
choosea precise amountof water (cupsor
ounces) t hat gou wouldlikedispensed. Pints
and Litersare alsoavailablefor LCDmodels.

AccessBy: Home>Options> Dispenser O ptions>
Precise Fill > SetAmount
Activate By: Usingthe arrowbuttonsto select
the desiredamount.Press MORE UNITS to select
betweenCUPS, OUNCES, PINTS or LITERS.
Non-LCDModels
0 Press the PRECISE FILLCUPS/OZpad.
The WATERpad willlightand the CRUSHED
and CUBED ice pads willturn off.The last unit
used willbe displaged.
O Press the PRECISE FILLpad againto toggle
betweencupsand ounces.
If you selectedOUNCES, press the A or V pad
to selectthe numberof ouncesgou wouldlike
to hovedispensed between2-99 ounces.
Thedefaultis8 ounces.
If you selectedCUPS, pressthe A or V pad
to selectthe amount gou wouldliketo have
dispensed. Thegare displagedas 1/4,1/3, 1/2,2/3
and 3/4,with the highestamountbeing 16 3/4
cups.Thedefaultis 1cup.
Press the cupagainstthecradleand water
will begindispensing. I t willautomaticallgstop
whenthe amountset hasbeendispensed.
Thedisplagwillshowthe amount of water
dispensed, beep,then resetafter 5 seconds.
NOTE: Donot leavethe dispenser unattended
whenwater isbeingdispensed.

If gouwould liketo stop dispensing water
beforethe specified amount hasbeen
dispensed, just remove the cupfrom the
cradle.Thedisplagwillshowthe amountthat
hasbeendispensed for Sseconds. I fthe cup
switchis pressed againwithinthat time,the
dispenser w ill continueup to theset amount.
If not,the displagwillreturnto the set
amount.
