HOW TO REPLACE THE FUSE
If the fuse is blown, the engine will not starL The location of the fuse
is next to the battery.. Remove the fuse and replace with a 15 amp.

HOW TO SET THE CUTTING HEIGHT
The cutting height is set at the factory from t_I2 to 4 inches. To lower
or raise the cutting height, make an adjustment to the lifter rod as
follows.
t. Move the lift lever to the lowest position..
2. Disconnect the lifter rod from the lifter arm (Figure 64).
3. Turn the lifter rod clockwise to lower or counterclockwise to
raise the cutting height.
4. Attach the lifter rod to the lifter arm..
5_ Move the lift lever to the highest position. Make sure the pulleys
or belt do not touch the bottom of the frame.

HOW TO CLEAN THE MOWER HOUSING
WARNING: Before you clean the mower housing,
stop the engine and disconnect the wire to the spark
plug.
ADJUSTMENT
Grass and other debris on top of the mower housing can keep the
belt from working correctly° For safety and correct operation,
frequently clean the top of the mower housing. Remove grass and
debris from around ti_e pulleys and other moving parts.
1.. Move the lever for the attachment clutch to the ENGAGE posi-
tion.
2. Clean the top of tile mower housing.
3. Move the lever for the attachment clutch to the DISENGAGE
position.
4. Again clean the top of the mower housing_
5 After you cut the grass, clean the bottom of the mower housing°
FRONT WHEEL ALIGNMENT
The alignment of the front wheels cannot be adjusted. If the steering
is damaged and the alignment has changed, see your nearest
authorized service center.
HOW TO CLEAN THE GRASS BAGGER
_ WARNING: Before you clean the grass bagger, stop
the engine and disconnect the wire to the spark plug.
For good performance, frequently clean the grass bagger as
follows,
I_ Disconnect the rubber latch from the extension tube
(Figure 65).
2, Remove the connector tube from the extension tube.
3. Remove the elbow and connector tube from the cover.
4o Clean the connector tube, the extension tube, and the elbow
with soap and water.
5 Raise the cover_
6, Clean the window with soap and water°
