7. Makesureall cablesare routedto the left of thechute controlrod.
Line up the hole in the hexend of chuterod with the arrowon the
inputshaftand insert the hexend of the rod into the inputshaft
belowjoystickon handlepanel.See Figure7.
NOTE:Thechute rod will fit snugglyintothe inputshaft. Supportthe
rearof the dash panelwith one hand whileinsertingthechute rod with
your otherhandto ensurethechute rod is insertedall the
way
intothe
inputshaft.

Nowpushthe roundend of chuterod backtowardsthe handle
paneluntilthe hole in the rod linesup with the holein the chute
control inputclosestto the chutecontrolhead. Insertthe cotter
pin.See Figure8.
NOTE:The secondholeis usedto achievefurther engagement o f
the hex end of chute rod intothe inputshaft if requiredand can be
usedlaterforadjustmentif thechute doesnot fully rotate.Refertothe
Service& Maintenance sectionfor ChuteControlRodadjustments.

Finishsecuringchute controlheadto chutesupport bracketwith
wingnut, and clevispin and bow-tiecotter pin removedearlier.Do
notovertighten.See Figure9.
