Loosenthe hex nuton the shiftcable indexbracket.See Figure Pivotthe bracketdownwardto take up slack in the cable. Retightenthehex nut. Removethe plasticbelt coveron the front of the engineby remov- ing the two self-tappingscrews.See Figure24.
