Usingthelower oven.
To avoid possible bums, place the shelves in the desired posifion before you turn the oven on.

Before you begin...
The shelves have Stol>locks, m that when
l)la('ed correctly
on the SUl)l)orts, they will
stop heft)re coming
completely
out, and
will not tilt.
_._hen I)lacin°_ and removing, cookware,
pull the shelf otlt to the bump
on the
shelf support.
To remove a shelf, pull it toward you, flit
the fl'ont end up and pull it out.
To replace,
place the end of the shelf
(stop-locks)
on the support,
tilt up the
ti'ont and push the shelf in.
NOTE: 30" ovens(shown) have 6 shelf positions.
27"ovens have 4 shelf positions.

NOTE:A coofing fan may
automatically turn on and off to
cool flTtemal parts. This is normal,
and the fan may continue to run
even after llTe oven is turned off.
How to Set the Oven for Baking or Roasting

BAKE
pad,

Press

number

to set the
desired
temperature.

Check
food
for (hmeness
at
minimum
time
on recipe.
Cook
hmger
if necessary:

CLEAR/OFF pad

cooking,

Topreheat, set the oven at the
correct temperature. The control
will beep when the oven is
preheated and the display will
show your set temperature. This
may take approximately 10minutes.
Preheating and Pan Placement
Preheat
the oven if' the recipe
calls for it.
Preheating
is necessm T ti)r good results
when baking
cakes, cookies,
pastn,' and
breads.
Baking results will be better
if baking
pans are centered
in the oxen as much
as possible.
Pans should
not touch each
other
or the walls of the oven. If you
need to use two shelves, stagger
the pans
so one is not directly
above the other;
and leave approximately
1½" between
pans, fl'om the fl'ont, back and sides of
the wall.
