Press the shutter

down fully
to start
shooting.

1 m (3.3 ft.) to infinity.

brightness
and color of the LCD monilor
shown during
movie shooting
may differ from those shown before shooting
begins.
You do not need to hold down the shutter button.
During
shooting,
"oREC"
appears
on the
LCD
monitor
with
a counter
showing
the remaining
time
displayed
in the top-right
corner.
,;_'Once
the
remaining
time
runs
out,
movie
recording
automatically
stops
and the movie
is stored
on the xD-
Picture Card.
If you
press
the shutter
button
during
shooting
shooting
ends and the movie
is stored
on the xD-
Picture
Card.
If you end shooting
immediately after you start shooting,
only
1 second of movie is shot.

@ Press "_11"or "1_." to select the movie file.
Z Movies
cannot be played
back
using multi=frame

is normal

• Playing Back Movies
Control
Description
Playback
begins.
The movie automatically
stops when playback
ends.
Pauses the movie during playback.
Press this button again to resume
playback.
Stops playback.
=_Press "_1" or "lP," while movie playback
is stopped
to go back
to the previous file or advance to the next file respectively.
Press these

playback
to skip forwards
or backwards
through the movie.
