Raise cutting height/reduce speed..
Adjust throttle control
Clean underside
of mower
housing.
Clean/replace
air fitter_
Check oil level/change
oil
Clean & regaporchange
spark plug.
Replace fuel filter.
Empty fuel tank and refill tank with
fresh, clean gasoline.
Empty fuel tank and carburetor,
refill tank with fresh gasoline and
replace fuel filter.
Connect & tighten spark plug wire,
Clean engine air screen/fins.
Clean/replace
muffler°
Check all wiring.
See "To Adjust Carburetor"
in
Service and Adjustments
section.
Contact a Sears or other qualified
service center.
Replace blade° Tighten blade bolt
Contact a Sears or other qualified
service center.
Tighten loose part(s).
Replace damaged
parts.
Check wiring, switches and
connections. If not corrected,

Level mower deck.

open vent holes.

Replace mower drive belto
