    ■ Pair the handsfree with a phone The handsfree is specially designed for compatible Nokia phones that support Bluetooth wireless technology. You can, however, use the handsfree with any compatible Bluetooth device that supports the Bluetooth Handsfree profile. Refer to the user guide of your phone for more information on Bluetooth wireless technology.

    3. Set the phone to search for Bluetooth devices. See the user guide of your phone for instructions. 4. Select the handsfree (Nokia HF-6W) from the list. 5. Enter the Bluetooth passcode 0000 to pair the handsfree with the phone. The phone becomes the default phone for the handsfree, if the handsfree has not been previously paired with another phone.

    You can set your phone to connect with the handsfree automatically when the handsfree is switched on. To do this in Nokia phones, change your paired device settings in the Bluetooth menu. If the handsfree does not automatically reconnect to the default or the last used phone, press and hold the answer/end key.
