" Volume control
Press the VOL+ button to increase the volume and the
VOL- button to decrease the volume.
" To adjust the bass
[On the remote control]
Select the bass strength by pressing the BASS button.
BASS 1:
Emphasised slightly.
BASS 2:
Emphasised more.
BASS 3:
Emphasised fully.
BASS OFF: Cancelled.
[On the main unit]

The unit enters the menu select mode.

Select the bass strength

LEVEL 1:
Emphasised slightly.

" To adjust the treble
You cannot adjust when the bass setting is "BASS OFF".
The treble cannot be adjusted by the remote control.

LEVEL +1 Emphasised slightly.
LEVEL +2 Emphasised more.
Notes:
! Reduce the volume before starting to play. MiniDiscs,
compared to ordinary cassette tapes, have very little
noise. If the volume is adjusted according to your
usual expectations of noise, high volume may damage
your hearing.
! The sound escaping from your earphones may annoy
people around you. In particularly crowded places
(such as on trains or buses), reduce the volume.
! If you set the volume to 23 or more, the bass boost will
be adjusted automatically.
