dishwashers.Cascade ®, CascadeComplete ®and
Electrasol ®Automatic DishwashingDetergentshave
beenapproved for use in all GEdishwashers.Keep
gour detergent fresh and drg. Don't put detergent into
the dispenseruntil gou're readg to wash dishes.
All wash cgclesexcept RINSEONLVrequire detergent.
Theamount of detergent to usedependson whether
gour water is hard or soft.
Protectgour dishesand dishwasherbg contacting
gour water department and asking how hard gour
water is.Twelveor more grains is extremelg hard
water.A water softener is recommended.Without it,
lime can build up in the water valve,which could stick
while open and cause flooding.Too much detergent
with soft water can cause a permanent cloudinessof
glassware,called etching.

store the dishwasherdetergent in a separate space
from all other cleaners.Showangone who mag use

work with dishwashers.
