Your tractor ts equipped with an adjustable brake system
whlch is mounted on the right side of the transaxle,
" tf tractor requires more than six (6) feet stopping distance
at high speed in highest gear, then brake must be adjusted.

Depress clutchibrake pedal and engageparking brake,

Measure distance between br&ke operating arm and
• nut "A" on brake rod.
° :' If distance is other than 1-1/2", loosen Jam nut and turn
nut "A" until distance becomes 1-1/2". Retighten jam
' nut against nut "A",

Pull beti ioward fr0n(of tr,_ctor and remove downwards
from aroudd engine pulley.

Install new belt by reversing above procedure.
IMPORTANT:
MAKE SURE UPPER BELT KEEPER IS
=OSITIONED PROPERLY BETWEEN LOCATOR TABS.
