these simple checks before calling far service, you may save time and money.

Check channel selection.
Picture blurred or distorted. Ghost in picture.
Check antenna or cable hooku]9 for broken wires. Try another
channel -- possible station troable. Check for local interference.
Poor or no color.
Is it a color program? Check a_atenna or cable hookup for broken
wires. Adjust Video Menu opl:ions.
No sound.
Volume setting may be too lo_v. Check MUTE on remote.
Check
Audio Mode in Audio Menu: Audio Mode may be set to SAP,
but no SAP signal is detected on the channel.
Cannot select ce]:tain channels.
Add/Del/Surf
of the Setup Mc.nu may skip channels.
Are captions available? Is Caption 1, 2, 3, or 4 selected using the

Reset the TV by disconnecting
the AC power cord from the power
outlet, wait a few minutes, then plug the TV back into the outlet.
You will have to reset the clock to the cunent time.
