If you rnn into any problem nsing tbe camcorder, nse the following table to tronbleshoot the
problem. Should the difficulty persist, disconnect the power source and contact your Sony
dealer oi"local authorized Sony service facility.
Power
Symptom Cause and/or corrective actions
The power is not oil. • The battery pack is not installed.
-) Install the hattery pack. (p. 7)
• The battery is dead.
-) Use a charged battery pack. (p. 7)
• The AC power adaptor is not connected to a wall outlet.
-) Connect the AC power adaptor to a wall ontlet. (p. 23)
The power goes off. • While heing operated in CAMERA mode. the camcorder has
been in Standby mode for more than 5 minntes.
-) Set the POWER svcitch to OFF, then to CAMERA. (p. 11)
• The battery is dead.
-) Use a charged battery pack. (p. 7)
The battery pack is qnickly discharged. • The amhient temperatnre is too low. (p. 70)
• The battery pack has not heen charged fully.
-) Charge the hattery pack again. (p. 7)
• The battery pack is completely dead, and cannot be recharged.
÷ Use another battery pack. (p. 23)
