1. Skewer spits into whole poultry so that point goes through the chest and thighs (Fig. 5).

2. Place sharp end of spit into holes on one side of rotisserie positioning breast toward the operator.
3. Fit the groove on the opposite end of spit into corresponding holes on the other side of the rotisserie.
• Turkey spit (optional) requires removal of the rotisserie drum to roast one whole turkey.
Tying Legs (Fig. 6)
Tie legs of chicken or cornish hen together if desired.
Baskets
Make sure product in baskets does not stick out of basket.
• Shortening is not needed.
