  • Page 2 2. To achieve maximum distance and performance, use 24AWG solid wire Cat5e/6 cable. Using stranded wire Cat5e/6 cable, or cable with a gauge size higher than 24AWG will result in shorter extension distance. All Tripp Lite N202-Series Cat6 cables are made with 24AWG, solid wire cabling.
  • Page 3 Installation and Operation Connect the HDMI source to the HDMI input on the local transmitter unit. Connect the TMDS RJ45 port on the local transmitter to the TMDS RJ45 port on the remote receiver using Cat5e/6 cable. Note: See the installation diagrams for maximum extension distance at 1080p (24 Hz) / 1080i (60 Hz) video resolutions. Connect the DDC RJ45 port on the local transmitter to the DDC RJ45 port on the remote receiver using Cat5e/6 cable.
