EPSON Status Monitor Utility Overview

The EPSON Status Monitor is a utility program that monitors
your printer and gives you information about the current status
of the printer, including the amount of toner. If a print error
occurs, the Status Monitor also provides you with a message
describing the error.
You can use the EPSON Status Monitor utility to monitor a
local printer from Microsoft Windows 3.1, Windows 95,
Windows NT 3.51, or NT4.0. This utility is also available for use
on a network. Network use requires the EPSON Type B
Ethernet Interface Card (C82357
NT3.51, NT 4.0, or Windows 3.11 for Workgroups.
Note:

This utility can only monitor local printers from Windows 3.1.
o
This utility can only monitor network printers from Windows
3.11 for Workgroups.
o
In Windows 3.11 for Workgroups, you can see the status of a
network printer using this utility, but you cannot print over a
network using the utility.
This utility shows your printer status and allows you to change
printer settings, such as print density.

Installing the Status Monitor Utility

1. Make sure Windows is running.
2. Insert the CD-ROM that comes with your printer into your
CD-ROM drive D (or E).
