Functions that can be operatedwith
the buttons/switch
You call set up o1"operate various functions with these buttons/switch.
For the location of the buttons/switch, see "Identifying parts" (page l l).

Pops the flash up.

Compensates the exposure./Sels up 1he aperture value./
butt0n/@_ button Displays multiple images on the screen simullaneously./
Scales down an image that has been scaled up when
viewing images.
FINDER/LCD button
Switches the display between the LCD screen and the
view finder.
MENU button Displays the melm screen for setting up the melm item.
MOVIE button
Records movies.
AEL button/@, button
Fixes the exposure of the entire screen./Scales an image
up when viewing images.
ZOOM button
Magnifies and shoots the subject using the zoom llzature
of the camera (ZOOM).
Fn button/c_j button Displays the setup screen of the fimction that is set using
the Fn button./Rotates images.
C0utr01 butt0u Sets up the li_llowing flmctions: Display, White
Balance, Drive mode, ISO, and Autofocus.

Plays back images.
? button/_ button Displays a shooting tip or In-Camera Guide./Deletes
images.
FOCUS Inode switch
Switches the autofocus and malmal focus.
Preview button Checks blurring of the background.
