Typesof "Memory Stick" that can be
used
The IC recording mediutn ttsed by this
camera is a "Memory Stick". There are two
types of "Memory Stick".
• "Memo D' Stick"
• "Memo D' Stick Duo": Inserting a "Memo D'
Stick Duo" into a Memory Stick Duo Adaplor.

Notes on the "InIoLITHIUM" battery
pack
• Chm+ge the supplied NP-FRI battery pack
belore using tile camera lot the first lime.

• The battery pack can be charged even if it is not
completely discharged. Also. even if bmtery
pack is not fiflly charged, you can use the
paltkdly charged capacity of tile battery pack as
is,
• If you do nol intend to use the batte W pack lot a
long lime, u_e up tile existing charge and
remove it honl your camera, then store it in a
cool. dry place. This is to mainlain tbe batlery
pack's functions (page 90).

whicll is capable of reproducing shmp images
with excellent conlrast,
The lens lot this camera has been produced under
a quality assurance syslem certified by Carl Zeiss
in accoMance with lhe qualily standards of Carl
Zeiss in Germany.
Noteson the ACAdaptor
• Do not shol_ tbe DC plug ol tile AC Ad+hotor
with a nletallic object, its this Inay callse
mafihnction.
• Clean file DC plug of the AC Adaptor wilh a dry
cotton swab, elc. Do not use lfie plug if it is
dirty. Use of a dirty plug may nol properly
chaise the batlery pack.

light. This may cause irrecoverable damage to
your eyes. Or il may cause tile malflmclion of
your camera.
• Do not use the canlera near a location that
generales strong radio waves or emits radiatk)n.
The culnera may not be able to record or play
back properly.
• Using the canlera in sandy or dusty localions
nlay cause tllalhlnctions.
• If lnoisture
condensalion occurs, remove

• Do not shake or strike the camera. In addilion to
malfimctions and an inabilily 1o record images,
lhis may render the recording medium unusable.

• Tile contents of lbe recording cannol be
compensated lot if recording or playback is nol
possible due to a malhmctkm of your calnera or
recording media, etc.
