Using AF to Focus
Quick Mode: AF_
The dedicated AF sensor is used to focus in the One=Shot AF mode
(p=66), using the same AF method as with viewfinder shooting.
Although you can focus the target area quickly, the Live View image
w[[[ be interrupted momentarily during the AF operation.
Magnifying frame
Display the Live View image.
® Press the <¢_> button.
_h The Live View image wiii appear on
the LCD monitor.
® The small boxes on the screen are
the AF points, and the larger box is
the magnifying frame.
Select the AF point. _
® When you press the <[_[]> button, the
Quick Control screen will appear.
_y,, T he settable functions will be
highlighted in blue.
® Press the <_> keyto maketheAF
point selectable.
® Turn the <_> dial to select the AF
point.
