About the Safety Zoom
Depending on the number of recording pixets set, you can shift from
optical zoom to digital zoom without pausing up to a factor where the
image quality does not deteriorate (Safety Zoom). [] displays when
reaching the maximum zoom factor without image deterioration.
Pressing the zoom lever toward E43again allows you to zoom even
further (not available in []).
Depending on the number of recording pixets set, the Safety Zoom
zone varies as follows.
