Orientation sensor judges the upper end to be "up" and the
lower end to be "down". tt then regulates the optimal white
balance, exposure and focus for vertical photography. This
function operates regardless of the on/off status of the Auto
Rotate function.
Resetting Settings to Their Default

e ettings cannot be reset when the camera is connected to a
computer or to a printer.
• The following cannot be reset.
- The shooting mode.
- The [Date/Time], [Language] and [Video System] options
in the _] menu (pp. 51, 52)
- White balance data recorded with the custom white
balance function (p. 95)
