The CZ-3D comes to you just about ready to use. Take a look at the
diagram above and familiarize yourself with the parts of the CZ-3D
before proceeding.
1. Unpack your new CZ-3D carefully. Save the carton
2. Take a look inside the locknut on the upper stem.
3. Slip the lower stem into the center section.
4. Adjust the stem length (using the guide pin & stem
housing(not shown)

side and loosen the lock nut by rotating it fully
counterclockwise.

6 inches in front of, and slightly to the right of your
right foot, (to the left of your left foot for left handers).
Your arm should be straight and relaxed, with the
grip held loosely.
REMEMBER: The longer the shaft, the more you will
have to bend your elbow and the sooner your arm
will get tired. The CZ-3D is balanced for comfortable
searching in a tight semicircle around the front of the
operator.
