GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS
The warranty on this lawn mower does not
cover itemsthat have been subjected to
operatorabuse or negligence.To receive full
value from the warrant, operator must maintain
mower as instructedin this manual.
Some adjustments willneed to be made
periodical_ to properly maintain your unit.
All adjustments in the Service and
Adjustments sectionof this manual should be
checked at least once each season.
• Once a year, replace the spark plug, replace
air filler element and check bladefor wear. A
new spark plug and clean/new airfilter
element assures proper at-fuel mixture and
helpsyour engine run better and last longer.
• Follow the maintenance schedule in this
manuaJ.
BEFORE EACH USE
• Check engine oil level.
• Checkfor loose fasteners.

wheel bearings. Viscous lubricantswillattract
dust and dirtthat will shorten the life of the self
lubricatingbearings, if you feel they must be
lubricated, use only a dry,powdered graphite
type lubricantsparingly.
