Toavoid possible bums, place the shelves in the desired posifion before you turn the oven on.
Before you begin...
The shelves have stop-locks,
so that when
placed
correctly
on the shelf supports
(A
through
E), thex will stop beflwe coming
completely
out, and will not flit.

pull the shelf out to the bump

To remove a shelf, pull it toward you, tilt the
ti'ont end up and pull it out.
Toreplace,
place the end of the shelf (stoI>
locks) on the support,
tilt up the ti'ont and
push the shelf in.
NOTE: Theshelf Is not desl)ned to slide out at the
special low shelf (R)position.
The oven has 5 shelf positions.
It also has a special low shelf
position (R) for extra large items,
such as a large turke,¢
Plastic
items on flTe cooktop
may
melt if left too close to the vent.

Upper Oven Vent
Your oven is vented
through
ducts at the
rear of the range.
Do not block these ducts
when cooking
in the oven--it
is important
that the flow (ff hot air fl'om the oven and
ti'esh air to the oven burner
be
tminterrupted.
Avoid touching
the vent
openings
or nearby stlrfilces
dtwing
oven or
broiler
operation--they
may become
hot.
Handles of potsandpanson thecooktop may
become hot if left toodose to thevent
Do not leaveplastic or flammable items on the
cooktop--they may melt or ignite if left too close
to the vent
Do not leave closed containers on the cooktop.
Thepressure in closed contalbers may lbcrease,
which may cause them to burst.
Metal items wi// becomevery hot if they are left
on the cooktop,and could causebums.
Power Outage
CAUTION: Donot makeany attempt to operate the

On some models,
the OVENLIOHT switch is
on the lower fl'ont control
panel.
