This monitor operates most efficiently when used with a Compaq compatible graphics controller. This number is necessary for all purchases.

    Operating the Monitor Front Panel Controls No./Icon Control Function Horizontal Position Moves screen left or right. Vertical Position Moves screen up or down. Horizontal Size Adjusts the horizontal screen width. Vertical Size Adjusts the vertical screen height. Minus Controls degree of adjustment to functions. Plus Controls degree of adjustment to functions.

Power switch Turns the monitor on and off. Setting Contrast and Brightness controls to their maximum settings may cause the screen to appear out of focus.
  • Page 9 Dual Function Controls Some controls have dual functions and, when pressed in pairs, will adjust alternate screen functions. The following table identifies which controls to press together to adjust a particular function. Dual Function Controls Icon Control Function Parallelogram Corrects a display that is leaning left or right. V-linearity Corrects a compressed display look at the top or bottom of the screen.
