    CKD9905 O/M.QXD 5/29/03 1:38 PM Unravel the AC cord and connect it to a conveniently located AC outlet having 120V and 60Hz only. The Clock Display will illuminate and “12:00” will appear in the display. NOTE: If the AC plug does not fit into a nonpolarized outlet, do not file or cut the wide blade.

Slide the FUNCTION switch to the desired band (FM or AM). Hints for Better Reception FM - The FM antenna is built into the AC cord. Fully unravel AC cord for best reception.

  • Page 9 CKD9905 O/M.QXD 5/29/03 1:38 PM OPERATION (CONTINUED) CD PAUSE CONTROL During CD playback, if you wish to pause the disc momentarily, press the PLAY/PAUSE ( ) button again. Playback stops but the disc continues to spin and the track number flashes in the Display for a few seconds.

Press the SKIP/Search/HOUR ( repeatedly to advance the player to higher numbered tracks.

AM (TIME) LED INDICATOR In the upper left corner of the Display is the AM LED indicator. When the AM LED indicator is lit, the actual or alarm time shown in the Display is AM hours.

If the cabinet becomes smudged or dirty, clean it with a soft, slightly dampened cloth. Never allow water or any liquid to get inside the cabinet. Never use any abrasive cleaners or cleaning pads as these will damage the finish of your radio.
