CAUSE
AC cord not
plugged in.
ALARM switch is
not set to ON position. to ON position.

AM–Interference from

FM–AC cord
not extended.
ALARM switch is
in ON position.
Battery connected
improperly, not con-
nected or dead.
Clock not set.
ALARM switch is
not in AUTO or
BUZZER position.

Alarm time not set.
POSSIBLE
SOLUTION
Insert plug firmly
into AC outlet.
Set ALARM switch
Turn the VOLUME
control up.
Turn the radio for
better AM reception.
Extend AC cord.
Don't set ALARM switch
to the ON position.
Check the battery.
Set the clock.
Set ALARM switch
to the AUTO or BUZZER
position.
Set the clock.
Set alarm time.
