Client system requirements

The following firmware and software requirements must be met before the Intel Management Engine can be
configured and run on the client system:
• The SPI flash device programmed with the Intel AMT 8.0 flash image integrating BIOS, Intel Management
Engine, and GbE component images is installed.
• The BIOS is set up with Intel AMT enabled.
• Device drivers (Intel MEI/SOL/LMS) are installed and configured on the client system to ensure that all of
the Intel Management Engine features work correctly.
