Cause and Remedy
Cause The drum cartridge of Y (Yellow), M
(Magenta), C (Cyan), or K (Black) is
nearing the end of its life.
Remedy You can continue printing for a while,
however have ready a new drum cartridge.
Replace the drum cartridge of displayed
color with a new one before printing a large
amount of data.
Cause The waste toner container is not installed,
or is not installed properly.
Remedy Install the waste toner container or install it
properly.
Cause The waste toner container needs to be
replaced soon.
Remedy You can continue to print for a while,
however have ready a new waste toner
container.
Cause The waste toner container has been full.
Remedy Replace the waste toner container with a
new one.
Cause The drum cartridge of Y (Yellow), M
(Magenta), C (Cyan), or K (Black) is not
installed or is not installed properly.
Remedy Install the drum cartridge of displayed color,
or install it properly.
Cause The fixing unit is nearing the end of its life.
Remedy You can continue to print for a while,
however have ready a new fixing unit.
Cause Fixing unit is not installed, or is not installed
properly.
Remedy Install the Fixing unit, or install it properly.
Cause The drum cartridge of Y (Yellow), M
(Magenta), C (Cyan), or K (Black) has
reached the end of its life.
Remedy Press [
for a while, however, as this may result in
deterioration in print quality. Replace the
drum cartridge with a new one. After
replacing, if the printer is not online, press [
