Getting to know your phone

Standby display

Handset name and number
The handset name and number
is displayed in standby mode.

Handset display icons

Displayed on top line of screen
Battery levels
Shows handset battery status.
Fully Charged
2/3 Charged
1/3 Charged
No Charge (flashing)
Handset in use
Displayed when a call is being received or
in progress.
Handset not in use
Displayed when the handset is not in use
(on base).
Answering machine
Displayed when answering machine is set
to on.
Keypad lock
Displayed when the keypad is locked.
Handsfree speaker
Displayed when in handsfree mode.
* For these features to work you must subscribe to your Network Provider's Caller Display* and/or Call
Waiting* service. A quarterly fee may be payable.

hours and minutes.
Names
Ringer off
Displayed when the handset ringer is
switched off.
Alarm bell
Displayed when an alarm is set.
Range
Displayed in standby mode to indicate
handset is in range of the base. Flashes if
you go out of range.
Internal call
Displayed when an internal call is in
progress.
New Calls*
Displayed to indicate new Calls list entries.
New text message*
Displayed to indicate new text messages
in the Inbox.
New answering machine message
Displayed to indicate new answering
machine messages received.
