Replacing the system board

CAUTION:
The heat sink and microprocessor might be very hot. Turn off the computer and
wait three to five minutes to let the computer cool before opening the computer
cover.
This section provides instructions on how to remove and install the system board.
To replace the system board, do the following:
1. Remove the side cover. See "Opening the cover" on page 84.
2. Disconnect the cables from the system board and from all drives.
3. Carefully take note of the location of all cable connections on the system board
4. Remove the screws that secure the system board to the chassis.
5. Lift the system board out of the chassis.
6. Install the new system board into the chassis and align the screw holes with
