Note: The SIM card is identified by the IC chip mounted on one side of the card.
Replacement instructions
To replace the SIM card, do as follows:
1. Turn off the computer; then disconnect the ac power adapter and all cables from the computer.
2. Close the computer display, and turn it over.
3. Remove the battery. For more information, refer to "Replacing the battery" on page 77.
4. Find the SIM card slot inside the open battery compartment. Push the SIM card inward
remove it out of the slot
5. Insert the SIM card firmly into the slot.
Note: Make sure that you insert the SIM card all the way into the slot.
6. Put the battery back in place, turn the computer over again, and reconnect the cables. For more
information about how to reinstall the battery, refer to "Replacing the battery" on page 77.
