WHAT THIS WARRANTY COVERS:
Your LG Wireless Media Box will be repaired or replaced, at LG's option, if it proves to be defective in
material or workmanship under normal use, during the warranty period ("Warranty Period") listed below,
effective from the date ("Date of Purchase") of original consumer purchase of the product. This war-
ranty is good only to the original purchaser of the product in normal/ household use and valid only on
product purchased and used in the U.S., excluding U.S. Territories.
Note:
Replacement Units and Repair Parts may be new or factory remanufactured. Replacement Units
and Repair Parts are warranted for the remaining portion of the original unit's warranty period or 90days,
whichever is longer. Please retain dealer's dated bill of sale or delivery ticket as evidence of the Date of
Purchase for proof of warranty, and submit a copy of the bill of sale to LG or LG's service person upon
request.
WARRANTY PERIOD:
LABOR: 1 Year
from the Date of Purchase.
PARTS: 1 Year
from the Date of Purchase.
HOW SERVICE IS HANDLED: Repair & Return Service
Repair
&
Return service will be provided during the warranty period. To obtain warranty service, pur-
chaser must deliver the product, freight prepaid by LG, in either its original packaging or packaging
providing an equal degree of protection, to LG authorized service center. Prior to sending the product
for warranty service, the purchaser must contact LG for problem determination and service procedures.
LG specifically does not represent that it will be able to repair or make a product replacement without
risk to or loss of program or data.
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT APPLY TO:
• damage caused in shipping or transit.
• product issues due to customer installation/product issues caused by use or installation inconsistent
with the owner's manual and other LG's instruction.
• product issues due to signal reception issues.
• product issues due to set up adjustments.
• product issues caused by use of parts or peripherals not recommended by LG.
• product issues due to modification of or to any part of the LG product, including the antenna.
• consumable parts or accessories (such as fuses or disposable batteries).
• damage (including cosmetic damage) or failure, due to misuse, abuse, negligence, improper mainte-
nance or storage, or to acts of God or other causes beyond LG's control. (Causes beyond LG's control
include but are not limited to lightning strike, power surges, power outages and water damage.)
• product issues due to repair or replacement of warranted parts by other than LG authorized service
center.
• product where the original factory serial numbers have been removed, defaced or changed in any way.
• product used for commercial or institutional purposes (including but not limited to rental purposes).
• product sold and labeled as "as- is- where- is" or similar notation. - LG will not replace missing com-
ponents from any package purchased "AS IS", "Open Box" or "Refurbished" or through an online
auction.
• damage caused by computer or internet viruses, bugs, worms or Trojan Horses.
THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING
WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICU-
LAR PURPOSE. TO THE EXTENT ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY IS REQUIRED BY LAW, IT IS LIMITED IN
DURATION TO THE EXPRESS WARRANTY PERIOD ABOVE. NEITHER THE MANUFACTURER NOR
ITS U.S. DISTRIBUTOR SHALL BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT,
SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES OF ANY NATURE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOST
PROFITS, LOST OR CORRUPTED PROGRAMMING OR DATA, OR ANY OTHER DAMAGE WHETHER
BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE.
SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSE-
QUENTIAL DAMAGES OR LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE
ABOVE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPE-
CIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS THAT VARY FROM STATE TO
STATE.
