Pure Direct delivers two-channel audio sources such as CD and
multi-channel audio sources including Super Audio CD and DVD-
Audio at levels of sound quality that will satisfy even the most
dedicated music lovers. (Also compatible with HD audio bitstream
signals in RX-Z11BL, RX-V3800BL and RX-V1800BL)

Pure Direct for Highest Sound Quality
Pure Direct is a special listening mode that causes
the signal to bypass all but the most basic audio
circuitry. It even turns off the display to prevent
any chance of electrical noise interference. You will
hear the purest possible sound from all sources
including USB and HDMI inputs.

Compatibility with the latest
HDMI 1.3a specification means
you can enjoy incredibly clear images with
awesome color performance, as well as the purest
digital sound, via a single HDMI cable.
Low-Jitter PLL Circuitry
A low-jitter PLL circuit in the preamplifier stage
significantly reduces jitter from digital inputs for
enhanced sound processing. This is particularly
effective in improving the sound quality of digital
signals that are input via HDMI. The addition of a
VCXO digital clock circuit further reduces the
possibility of jitter distortion.

(30/36bit), the xvYCC color standard, Auto Lip-Sync
function that automatically adjusts the lag between
video and audio, and a double speed Refresh Rates
of 120Hz and 1080p/24Hz.
When you use the RX-Z11BL's HDMI outputs to
transmit video signals, you enjoy spectacular color

performance. One reason is that HDMI 1.3a uses a
new color standard called xvYCC, which supports 1.8
times as many colors as
previous HDTV signals.
