How to Hot Plug / Hot Swap a HDD:
Please follow the instructions below to process Hot Plug / Hot Swap.
Improper procedures will cause the HDD damage and data loss.
Please connect the SATA power
Step 1
cable's 1x4-pin end (White) to
the power supply's 1x4-pin cable.
SATA power cable 1x4-
pin power connector
(White)
Connect the SATA 15-pin power
Step 3
cable connector's (Black) end to
the HDD.
Connect the SATA data cable
Step 2
to the motherboard's SATA
connector.
Connect the SATA data cable to
Step 4
the HDD.
