Using Basic modes
Option Description
Landscape Capture still-life scenes and landscapes.
Sunset Capture scenes at sunset, with natural-looking reds and yellows.
Dawn Capture scenes at sunrise.
Backlight Capture backlit subjects.
Beach & Reduce underexposure of subjects caused by sunlight reflected
Snow from sand or snow.
Text Clearly capture text from printed or electronic documents.

Align your subject in the frame, and then half-press [Shutter] to
focus.

Using the Live Panorama mode

In Live Panorama mode, you can capture a wide panoramic scene in a single photo.
Capture and combine a series of photos to create a panoramic image.

On the Home screen, scroll to <Basic>.

Align your subject in the frame, and then half-press [Shutter] to
focus.

Align the camera with the far left or the far right, or very top or bottom, of the
scene you want to capture.

Press and hold [Shutter] to start shooting.
