1. Program NOAA weather channels into the transceiver's memory for scan-
ning. Follow the same procedure as for regular channels under section "11.7

SCANNING."

mal weather broadcast unless a NOAA alert is received.

11.6.2 NOAA Weather Alert Testing
NOAA tests the alert system every Wednesday between 11AM and 1PM. To
test the GX1150's NOAA Weather alert feature, on Wednesday between 11AM
and 1PM, setup as in previous section and confirm the alert is heard.
11.7 SCANNING
Allows the user to select the scan type from Memory scan or Priority scan.
"Memory scan" scans the channels that were programmed into memory. "Prior-
ity scan" scans the channels programmed in memory with the priority channel.
