Precautions
• Choose the installation location carefully so that the
unit willnOI interfere with normal boating or car
driving operations.
• Avoid installing the unit in arcas subject to dust. dirt.
excessive vibration. or high temperature. such as in

Mounting angle adjustment
Adjust the mounting angle to less than
45°.
Frequency select switch
The AM (FM) luning interval is factory-selin the 10 k
(200 k)
position.
If the frequency allocation system of
your country is based on 9 kHz (50 kHz) interval. set the
switch on the bouom of the unit to the 9 k (50 k) position
before making connections.

Notes
• Make sure that the USB device/iPod is placed where boating
operations are not obstructed, such as the glove box of the
boat, etc.
• The length of USB connector cable is /.5 m (4.9 tt). Install the
USB device/iPod within the reach of the USB connector cable
Warning if your boat's ignition
has no ACe position
Be sure to set Ihe Auto Off function. For details, see the
supplied Operating InSIructions.
The unit will shut off completely and automatically in
the set time after the unit is turned off. which prevents
ballery drain.
If you do not sctlhe Auto OtT funclion. press and hold
CQfE) until Ihe display disappc'lrs e,Jeh time you turn
the ignition off.
RESET button
When the installation and connections arc completed. be
sure to press the RESET bulton with a ball-point pen. etc.

aprcs Ie laps de temps choisi une fois l'appareil mis hors
tension afin d'eviter que la balleric ne se dCcharge.

ein, an der es Spitzwasser ausgesetzt is!.
• Fur cine sichcre Befestigung verwenden Sie stcts die
mitgelieferten Montageteile.
Hinweis zum Montagewinkel
Das Gertit sollte in einem Winkel von weniger als 45°
montiert werden.
Frequenzwiihlsehalter
Das AM (UKW)-EinsteJlintervall ist werkscitig auf
die Position 10 k (bzw. 200 k) eingestellt. Wenn der
Frequcnzbereich in Ihrem Land bzw. Ihrer Region in
9-kHz~Schritle
(50-kHz-Schritte) untertcih is!. stellen Sie
den Schalter an der Unterscite des Gerats in die Position
9 k (50 k), bevor Sie Anschlusse vornchmen.

Hinweise
• Platzieren Sie das USB-Geratlden iPod unbedingt an einer
Stelle. an der es bzw. er beim Steuem des Boots nicht
hinderlich isl, also z. B. im Handschuhfach des Boots usw.
• Die Lange des USB·Anschlusskabels betragt 1,5 m.
Installieren Sie das USB-Geratlden iPod so, dass es bzw, er an
das USB-Anschlusskabel angeschlossen werden kann

Aktivieren Sie unbedingl die Abschaltautomatik.

Nach dem Ausschalten wird das Gerat dann nach
der voreingestcllten Zeit autornatisch vollstandig
abgeschaltel. so dass der Balleric kein Strom mehr
entzogen wird.
Wenn Sie die Abschaltautomatik nicht aktivieren. mussen
Sie jedes Mal. wenn Sic die Zundung ausschaltcn.
