Setup and BIOS History
The latest BIOS, the flasher utility program, and the BIOS history can each be
obtained from the HP Electronic Services. BIOS revisions are of the form
GM.05.xx.

Video Memory

The PC is supplied with 1 MB of video memory for 1280 × 1024 in 256 colors. An
additional 1 MB of video memory can be installed in the video memory socket (to
make a total of 2 MB) for 1280 × 1024 in 64 K colors.

Main Memory

The HP Vectra XM 5/xx PC has six sockets on the system board labeled A1, A2,
B1, B2, C1 and C2. The PC is supplied with 8 MB of main memory (two 4 MB
memory modules) in sockets A1 and A2. Main memory can be installed up to a
maximum of 192 MB. Any memory module can be placed in any socket. However,
for optimum performance slots with the same letter should have modules of the
same size.
