Guideline

This camcorder provides 3 types of guidelines to help you to set a
balanced image composition on the screen.
Select the record mode by pressing the MODE button. page 29
1.
Touch the Menu ( ) tab 
"Guideline."

Touch the desired guideline
according to the subject.
• The selected guideline
appears on the screen.

To exit the menu, touch the Exit
( ) or Return ( ) tab.
Submenu items
• Off: Disables the function.
• : P lacing the subject at the center cross point puts the
subject in the middle of the frame.
• : P ositioning subjects within the Safety Zone rectangle
ensures they will be recorded.
• : F or recording multiple subjects. Putting subjects at or
near the grid cross points creates a balanced
composition.
• Positioning a subject at the cross point of a guideline provides a
balanced composition.
• Guidelines are not recorded.

Play Option

You can select a specific video playback option.

( / ) mode. page 45

Touch the desired submenu item.
To exit the menu, touch the Exit

Submenu items
): P lays video clips in succession starting
Play All (
from a video you select and ending at the
last video you recorded, then returns to the
thumbnail index view.
Play One ( ): P lays the selected video once, and then
returns to the thumbnail view.
Repeat All ( ): P lays all the video clips repeatedly until
you touch the Return (
Repeat One ( ): P lays one selected video repeatedly until
you touch the Return (
